Peakanu Research Group started as a deep learning research group focusing on cognitive ML research. It's first project was building an affect aware tutor platform. Soon, the group expanded by doing projects in domain like protein fold study, reinforcement learning based poker bots and blockchain research.
Since it's inception in May 2022, the size of group has increased with domain experts from various fields. The primary objective of the group is to conduct R&D in cutting-edge technology, contibuting to the open-source community and showcasing new products and POCs in various national and international hackathons.
Peakanu Research Group participated in it's first hackathon at Headout's Hackout 2022 where it showcased it's PRG Protocol for outsourcing cloud computation task using blockchain technology.
Hackout is powered by Headout and is an annual open-track international hackathon. PRG participated virtually on Discord in the hackathon organised jointly by WeWork Embassy Quest, IIIT-A and IIT Varanasi. The protocol was reviewed by Headout's CTO Vikram Jit Singh with positive feedback.
